(circa 1935/40) “Scottish boy “  Exporting in the entire world , the Lenci manufacture had in its catalogues models with costumes of the entire world. As we can see from the catalogue from the several subject of the catalogue of 1931 or in the one of 1929, where we can find for example the Dutch couple in costumes of the series 300 . Even in the catalogue of 1925 the interest of the different costumes is shown through  the Chinese dolls (n. 189/188/188A  H 25”) and Maruska ( number 187, 40”) or the magnificent exotic doll (n.197 H 30”). The model of the dress of this Scottish boy  is already present in the catalogue from 1931 with the number E 26 , in a taller version of 18”, but this smaller exemplar is of a later time 1935/40. The Scottish boy seams very proud of his outfit all in felt , except for the cloak that is in cotton with Scottish square fantasy and the plush money belt.
