C :“BALTHAZAR” le Roi mage africain qui d'après la tradition chrétienne et ésotérique représente la race noire africaine, il incarne la Passion et la Souffrance et la réalité de la Mort et apporte la Myrrhe qui est un baume qui sert à embaumer les morts. Pièce unique en parfait état d'origine. H 57 cm. Récipient à Myrrhe en bois peint et sculpté. Superbe et original costume d'origine avec petite tache sur le pantalon. (circa 1925/1929) “Baldassarre” , Black WISE MAN with blue cloak This king is a black man, as the tradition tells. He wears yellow large pants with a light blue and orange decoration. The yellow shirt has white large sleeves with gold decorations and orange wristband. The magnificent light blue cloak is enriched with beads and gold thread. The turban gives the finishing touch to his regal look with spectacular red orange and blue ostrich-feather. He carries a gold wooden wand and brings with him the present of the “gold” , as a meaning of the royalty of Jesus. The creation ( 23” ) is dated 1925/29 and published on the Lenci book of 1989.
