PIRON Alexis [Dijon, 1689 - Paris, 1773], French poet and playwright. Very curious autograph manuscript of a poem on a small cardboard of 8,4 x 5,5 cm; on two columns and on the back on one. The song of the Crutch of Father Barnabas was very popular, it was composed on the occasion of a Capuchin father who had gone to the girls and left his crutch with one of them.
