Autograph letter, addressed to Victoire, baroness of Poutet in Vienna [whose mother was lady-in-waiting of the Empress]. Undated; 1 page in-8. A youthful letter to one of her close friends. "My dear Victory I am still condemned to stay in bed and that is why I am writing to you to pass the time. The night at mom's went well and you slept well for me I didn't wake up at all and slept like a rat. I hope to see you in the evening again today. I beg you to kiss the children for me and to say a thousand things to Mademoiselle Bertrand. Farewell I write you even more trad.
