He congratulates the bishop for the gain of his lawsuit "Which justifies you to have begun it only well founded on its justice. I make you my compliment and I share the satisfaction with you of the conclusion of this important affair ". -Autograph letter signed "Stanislas Roy" addressed to the bishop of Metz. Lunéville, April 5, 1738; 1 page in-4°, address on the back with wax seal. Letter concerning the placement of a parish priest. "M. le Référendaire is aware of this; I ordered him to tell you about it. What is certain is that you can be assured that I would not place any priest if he does not have your approval as I hope you will give it on the subject for which many honest people are interested and give testimony of his morals ". -Autograph letter signed "Stanislas Roy" addressed to the bishop of Metz.
