ASHANTI (Ghana) Kuduo" ointment POT made of lost wax bronze. The lid hinged on a large receptacle mounted on openwork hoops and decorated with engraved geometric motifs, is surmounted by the representation of the royal couple. The man is smoking an imposing ceremonial pipe. Courtisans fan the king and the pipe bowl, while nine musicians complete the procession.
